Agent and buyer incentive

In real terms our home has cost around three million pounds to build; this will be evident from a viewing and an independent survey done in 2004.

We prefer to sell and not delay our retirement plans and believe our asking price of £1,700,000 is evidence of our willingness to compromise in order to hasten our plans. Further than this we offer the following incentive to selling agents and private buyers.

Should a selling agent know of a potential buyer for our home that agent is most welcome to make contact and will receive our full co-operation. The agent’s client may view our property either accompanied or unaccompanied. Should a sale to that client then take place we will pay that agent the full negotiated commission.

A prospective buyer, not introduced by an agent, is welcome to view our property. Should that prospective buyer buy, we will further discount the price by the amount of an agent’s commission saved, normally 2%, i.e. £34,000.
