Don't lose sight of your main objective. Whilst one can argue incessantly about agents commissions and quality of service from estate agents, the overriding objective is to sell your home. Therefore, never dismiss your own agent*. If you are going to use one or more systems to help increase interest in your property treat them as additional sales strategies rather than an attempt to sell more cheaply. Have several selling strategies going at once if at all possible.
*Important note. If you have given your estate agent exclusive rights you should change this otherwise the agent can claim commission even if you or someone else sells your house. |
